Creative Assignment 1 Ideas

For my first picture I was thinking of using one of Frida Khalos self Portraits, specifically the ones below. I think it could be fun and easy to incorporate different elements and pictures together to appropriate one of these images.

For my second image I wanted to try and use a different artist because I was afraid that if I did two if Frida Khalo they would look very similar since a lot of her portraits are somewhat similar. So for the second one I am considering doing The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer. I am not completely confident with this idea yet but I think it could be fun.
